ARC August Update: Week Three

Hey there, everyone! It's time for another ARC August update! I kind of forgot about a week two post, but today, I'm filling you in on how I've been doing since my first ARC August update post, which can be found here.

In case you don't remember or if you haven't heard of ARC August, here's the key information that you need:
  • It's an annual event hosted by Octavia and Shelly at Read.Sleep.Repeat
  • Participants try to read as many ARCs (advance reader copies) as they can during the month
You can find my sign-up post with my TBR here, and see how I'm doing with my reading progress.

ARCs Read:

Since week one, I've read two more ARCs - The Boy Most Likely To by Huntley Fitzpatrick and The Curious Tale of the In-Between by Lauren Destefano.

Currently Reading

I've already posted my review for The Boy Most Likely To because it hit shelves on Tuesday, and I really, really enjoyed Huntley's third book. I loved reading about Tim and Alice, so I made sure to go out and grab a copy from Barnes & Noble on Tuesday. If you haven't read this book, but are considering it, check out my review.

The second ARC I read and finished this week was A Curious Tale of the In-Between by Lauren DeStefano. I haven't posted my review yet, but I will tell you that I loved this middle grade debut by Ms. DeStefano. Be sure to stop by my blog on August 25 to read my five-star review!

Currently Reading:

Right now, I'm reading Vivian Apple Needs a Miracle, the second book in the Vivian Apple series by Katie Coyle. It's set to hit U.S. shelves on September 1, but many international readers may recognize it by its other title, Vivian Apple Versus America. I'll be posting a review shortly before the book releases in the United States.

On Deck:

If I finish Vivian Apple Needs a Miracle before the end of the week (and I'm hoping that I do), I'm planning on reading both of these YA books from Balzer and Bray. Even though Fans of the Impossible Life publishes first, I'll probably read Dumplin' before because I've literally been dying to read it. Be sure to look out for these reviews! They'll be posted soon.
